Chairman Ryan Announces Hearings on the Economy, Jobs and the Budget

House Budget Committee will hear testimony from Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke and Congressional Budget Office Director Doug Elmendorf

WASHINGTON – House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan (WI-01) announced today that the Committee will hold two hearings next week focused on the economy and jobs, and the impact of the Federal budget on both. Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke is confirmed to appear before the House Budget Committee on Wednesday, February 9. Congressional Budget Office Director Doug Elmendorf will appear on Thursday, February 10. Both hearings will take place in 210 Cannon House Office Building, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
