Chairman Ryan Announces Hearings on the President’s FY2012 Budget

House Budget Committee will hear testimony from Office of Management and Budget Director Jacob Lew and Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner

WASHINGTON – House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan (WI-01) announced today that the Committee will hold two hearings next week with the goal of examining President Obama’s Fiscal Year 2012 budget request, due to be released Monday, February 14. Office of Management and Budget Director Jacob Lew will appear on Tuesday, February 15 at 10:00 a.m., and Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner will appear on Wednesday, February 16 at 2:00 p.m. Both hearings will take place in 210 Cannon House Office Building.

Wednesday, February 16, at 2:00 p.m. ET, the Committee will hear testimony from:
